For almost any new build or refurbishment scheme correct up-to-date plans are essential. 3i Surveys are able to provide accurate and highly detailed digital drawings, measured and drawn on-site using precision laser instruments. This method allows extensive quality checks to be carried out whilst still on site. 3i Surveys are able to include a wide range of information in a survey or add information to existing drawings. Feature heights for doors, windows, ceilings and other structures allow a better understanding of the structure and construction of a building – ideal where a building scheme is planned.

Electrical layouts, security systems, fire equipment and plant machinery can all be included as part of a building survey or can be added to existing CAD plans.

Sections

Once a drawing has been produced with heights recorded we are then able to use this information to create accurate section drawings and even full 3D visualisations. These are ideal for use in presentations at the scheme concept stage.

Elevations

Using the latest SiteMaster software coupled with a Total Station we are able to produce highly detailed elevation drawings. This software uses a hand-held computer connected to the Total Station allowing, for the first time, real time CAD drawings as a survey is carried out. This is a very efficient method which also significantly minimises errors.
